The Riksbank and Finansinspektionen have jointly assessed securities settlement in Sweden during 2009. The assessment focuses on the management of securities transactions from the conclusion of the deal until the final settlement in Euroclear Sweden’s system.
In the 2009 assessment Euroclear Sweden complies with all the assessed recommendations, one recommendation was not applicable and one was not assessed. Both public authorities support the conclusions in the assessment.
An English translation of the assessment will be published in June 2010.
