On 18 May the Riksbank offers new SEK loans (3 months)


On 20 October 2008 the Riksbank introduced a programme of recurrent auctions in order to offer SEK loans to the monetary counterparties. On the 13 February 2009, the Riksbank announced that in the future the loans will be offered with a variable interest rate and at longer maturities.


The eleventh credit under the new programme will be provided in an auction held on 18 May and will comprise SEK 25 billion. The loans term to maturity is 84 days, which means that the loans will fall due on 12 August 2009. The minimum interest rate will correspond to the average repo rate during the maturity of the loan with a supplement of 0.15 percentage points.
