The payment system RIX held open a little bit longer than usual today. During the day there have been large payment flows but the transactions are now completed. It has taken longer than normal for banks to complete the transactions ever since the international financial turmoil began. A similar situation occurred last week. It should be stressed that there were no technical disturbances, nor did the Riksbank lend money to any of its counterparts.
