Issuing of commemorative coins in 2007

At its meeting on 10 October, the Executive Board of the Riksbank decided that in 2007 a commemorative coin would be issued to mark the 300th anniversary of the birth of Carl von Linné (Carolus Linnaeus). The coin will be issued in silver with the denomination SEK 200 and in gold with the denomination SEK 2000.

The design of the commemorative coins will be determined by the General Council. The editions, the sales price and the definite timetable for issuing the commemorative coin will be set by the Executive Board during the first quarter of 2007.
