Hans Lindblad new Deputy Head of the Monetary Policy Department

The Executive Board of the Riksbank decided at its meeting 14 June to appoint Hans Lindblad Deputy Head of the Monetary Policy Department with effect from 1 July 2001.

Hans Lindblad holds a licentiate degree in economics. He has been employed at the Riksbank since 1997 and has served as head of the Division for Price Analysis and the Division for Macro Economic Analysis. Prior to this, he worked at the Ministry of Finance and the National Institute of Economic Research.


Hans Lindblad succeeds Per Jansson, who leaves the Riksbank for a post at the National Institute of Economic Research.


Kerstin Hallsten has been appointed the new head of the Division for Macro Economic Analysis, with effect from 1 July 2001. Kerstin Hallsten has a PhD in economics and has worked at the Riksbank since 1989.
