Repo rate unchanged at 2.90 per cent
At its Thursday meeting the Executive Board of the Riksbank decided that in the period up to August 18 the repo rate is to be unchanged at 2.90 per cent.
The next meeting of the Executive Board will take place on August 12, 1999. The prevailing repo rate thus applies until the Executive Board next meets.
The rate for the repos in the next six weeks is announced every other Friday. The repos will have a maturity of one week, from Wednesday to Wednesday, with tendering on Tuesdays.
