Repo rate unchanged at 2.90 per cent
At the Thursday meeting the Executive Board of the Riksbank decided that the repo rate is to be unchanged at 2.90 per cent up to and including 22 September.
The next Executive Board meeting is scheduled for 2 September. As a consequence of the timetable for Board meetings in August and September, on this occasion three consecutive one-week repos are announced and this will also be done at the time of the next decision on 16 September. The temporary change to repo rate announcements has no monetary policy significance.
