The European Banking Authority (EBA) will today publish the results of its stress tests of European banks. The objective has been to assess banks' resilience to adverse market developments. This year's stress test covers 51 banks in Europe, which corresponds to 70 per cent of the banking sector. In Sweden, Finansinspektionen is responsible for the stress tests covering the four major banks.
For further information, see the Finansinspektionen and EBA websites.
