Meet Kerstin af Jochnick and Martin Flodén in Almedalen

On 2 and 3 July, First Deputy Governor Kerstin af Jochnick and Deputy Governor Martin Flodén will take part in seminars and "Hot Seat" Q&A sessions in Almedalen. The idea is to stimulate dialogue between the Riksbank and politicians, debaters and opinion-makers.

Kerstin af Jochnick is taking part in two seminars. On 2 July, she will participate in a panel discussion on the new economic reality in the shadow of the zero interest rate arranged by Dagens Industri and Nordea.

 

And on 3 July, she will give a presentation on the Riksbank's interest rate decision, which will be followed by a discussion with leading politicians at a seminar organised by Almega.

 

On 2 July, Martin Flodén will take part in a panel discussion on the economic situation and the Riksbank's view of it. The seminar "Why are we taxing savings and subsidising squandering?" is being arranged by Skandia.

 

On 2 July, Martin will also give some straight answers about the interest rate decision and the risks of household indebtedness. In the "Hot Seat", he'll face questions about the Riksbank's interest rate decision and on the additional measures needed to deal with household debt. The Q&A session is being organised by Business Arena, Fastighetsnytt.

 

And on 3 July, he will be interviewed about the high level of borrowing and the associated risks. The interview is being arranged by Dagens Samhälle.
