Today the Basel Committee issues the final standard for the Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR). The Basel Committee took a decision in September this year on the standard and now the Group of Governors and Heads of Supervision (GHOS), the parent committee to the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, has expressed its support for the decision. This means that all of the four main components of Basel III are now finalised; higher capital adequacy requirements, leverage ratio, LCR and NSFR.
