Conference: Financial integration in the Nordic-Baltic region

Date

The Nordic-Baltic region is one of the most financially-integrated regions in the world. This involves both benefits and challenges.

A forum to discuss all that this entails is provided by the conference Nordic-Baltic Financial Linkages and Challenges, which is being held in Tallinn, Estonia on 13 December. The conference is being organised jointly by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Estonian central bank, Eesti Pank, and Sveriges Riksbank.

Speakers at the conference include central bank governors and heads of financial supervisory authorities from the Nordic-Baltic region, as well as leading European politicians and representatives of the financial sector and of the IMF. The Riksbank will be represented by First Deputy Governor Kerstin af Jochnick.
