Karolina Ekholm appointed professor

Deputy Governor Karolina Ekholm has been appointed professor at Stockholm University from 1 April 2010. The appointment stems from the fact that Ms Ekholm applied for a post at the university before she was appointed Deputy Governor of the Riksbank. She will be on leave of absence from the university for her work at the Riksbank, but will as previously maintain contact with the university as a guest lecturer and in order to monitor current research.

 

"I am very glad to have been awarded this post. I enjoyed my time at Stockholm University and look forward to returning there when the time comes to leave the Executive Board. But this will not entail any changes for me at the moment. I will be on leave from the university and will continue my work at the Riksbank," says Deputy Governor Karolina Ekholm.
