On 5-6 September, a conference on transparency in monetary policy and on the relationship between inflation and stability in production and employment will take place at the Riksbank. Invited academics and central bank representatives will gather at the conference to discuss these issues on the basis of a number of research reports written by, among others, Deputy Governor Lars E O Svensson and Professor Alan S. Blinder of Princeton University.
