Kasper Roszbach new Head of Financial Stability Department

The Executive Board of the Riksbank has appointed Kasper Roszbach as new Head of the Financial Stability Department. He will take up his new post on 4 November 2013.
Kasper Roszbach is currently Deputy Head of the Monetary Policy Department. He has worked at the Riksbank since 2002, among other things as a researcher and Head of the Research Division. Kasper Roszbach is an associate professor in economics and holds a professorship in banking and finance at Groningen University in the Netherlands.
"Kasper Roszbach is a highly competent economist with long experience of the operations of the Riksbank and has solid experience in the field of financial stability. The Executive Board is looking forward to continuing to work together with him", says the Governor of the Riksbank, Stefan Ingves.
Kasper Roszbach will succeed Mattias Persson who left the post of Head of Department in July this year. At present, Martin W Johansson is Acting Head of the Financial Stability Department.
