Changed collateral requirements for credits in RIX

The Riksbank has decided on 13 December to make a number of changes in the collateral requirements for credits in the RIX payment system. The changes involve, for instance, that the Riksbank will accept secured bonds issued by the borrower or by an institution closely linked to the borrower. The Riksbank will also accept securities issued by Swedish or foreign banks. The decision will apply with effect from 28 December.
