New website for the Riksbank

On 19 May 2004, the Riksbank's new website was launched, entailing a new structure, updated content and changed graphic profile. The purpose of the new website is to further improve accessibility to information provided by the Riksbank.

The changes are partly based on the results of a comprehensive user survey. One of the consequences is that all material published on the Riksbank’s website, in the form of reports, press releases, speeches and so on, has been gathered under a new heading, Published. One new development is that it is now possible to subscribe by e-mail to a large part of the information published on the website. Another new development is that it is possible to create personal bookmarks for information/news that one wants to be shown on the start page.

The content under the headings Monetary Policy, Financial Stability and Operational Activities, which reflects the Riksbank’s main tasks, has also been revised and updated.

One wish expressed in the user survey was a better search method for statistics, which the Riksbank is continuing to work on.
