Anders E Borg new adviser to the Riksbank
The Executive Board of the Riksbank decided at today's meeting to appoint Anders E Borg adviser to the Board. Mr Borg's duties will include participating in the monetary policy group and working with monetary policy protocol, inflation reports and other policy documents.
Anders E Borg is currently head of the macroeconomic analysis department at SEB. He has previously worked in the Prime Minister's Office and as chief economist at Transferator Alfred Berg and ABN Amro Bank in Stockholm.
He will take up the appointment of adviser on 15 April 2001.
