Riksbank extends press service
With effect from today, journalists will have the opportunity to contact the Riksbank's press service outside of normal working hours. The telephone number for the press service is +46-8-787 02 00. This service will be manned 17.00 - 8.30 hours on weekdays and all weekend. During office hours the press officer can be reached at tel. +46-8-787 02 15 or +46-70-246 61 57.
Tomas Lundberg has been working as press secretary in the information department since October. He has previously worked as economist and public relations officer at the Riksbank since 1992.
"These changes are in line with the Riksbank's ambition for greater openness and our aim to provide a good service to the media," comments Leif Jacobsson, Director of Communications at the Riksbank.
