Pernilla Meyersson new head of the Economics Departments Division for EU Economic and Monetary Coop.

Today the Riksbank has appointed Pernilla Meyersson to head its division for EU economic and monetary cooperation in the Economics Department of the Riksbank. She will hereby be responsible for matters to do with EMU at the Economics Department.

Pernilla Meyersson has a master’s degree in Economics and holds a diploma in International Relations from the London School of Economics. She has worked in the Economics Department at the Riksbank since the autumn of 1996. Previously she has worked as a political and economics correspondent at the Swedish Broadcasting Corporation and for the Swedish business magazine Affärsvärlden.
