New Riksbank report on financial system stability

On Friday November 7th the Riksbank will publish the first report in a new series on the financial market. The new Financial Market Report highlights one of the Riksbank's primary functions alongside monetary policy, namely the oversight of the payment system's stability.

In these reports, which will be issued twice a year, the Riksbank will present its view of tendencies in the financial system. The reports will contain accounts of particular aspects of the financial system and the pertinent policy issues for the Riksbank.

Copies of the report can be collected, after 10.30 a.m. on November 7th, from the Riksbank entrances at 7 Malmskillnadsgatan and 11 Brunkebergs-torg. A press conference on the Financial Market Report, attended by Urban Bäckström, Stefan Ingves, Kai Barvell and Martin Andersson, will be held on November 7th at 11 a.m. in the Riksbank.
