More surveys of the money market agents

From 1 September 2009, TNS Sifo Prospera will, on behalf of the Riksbank, conduct surveys of inflation expectations and other factors 12 times a year instead of, as now, four times a year. However, the eight additional surveys will be specifically aimed at money market agents alone. The new surveys will thus complement the existing four surveys which are aimed at money market agents, the social partners and purchasing managers. The increase in the number of surveys will make it possible to register changes in the expectations of the money market agents more frequently. The four more extensive surveys will continue to be published each quarter. The eight surveys that cover only the money market agents will be published in those months when no quarterly surveys are published.
