Malin Alpen and Martin W. Johansson – new deputy heads of the Financial Stability Department

On 1 June, Malin Alpen and Martin W. Johansson will take up the positions of deputy heads of the Financial Stability Department, AFS.

Malin Alpen has worked in the department since August 2001 and has been head of the Division for Financial Infrastructure Analysis in the department since June 2007. She has a Master of Science degree in economics and has previously worked at the Research Institute of Industrial Economics.

Martin W. Johansson has worked in the department since January 2005 and has been head of the Macroprudential Division (now the Banking and Macroprudential Division) in the department since January 2008. He has a Doctor of Philosophy degree in economics and has previously worked at the National Institute of Economic Research.
