Terms for the Riksbank's loan facility in Swedish krona

The Riksbank decided on 2 October 2008 to establish a loan facility in Swedish krona and has fixed the terms for the auction to be held on 6 October 2008. The terms can be found by following the links below.

At the same time, the Riksbank has decided to change the Rules and Regulations for RIX and Monetary Policy Instruments. The change implies that the Riksbank may allow all monetary policy counterparties to participate in so-called fine-tuning operations, if it deems that special circumstances apply.

The Riksbank has decided to apply this possibility on account of the loan facility announced today. Consequently, as of 8 October 2008 the Riksbank may perform fine tuning operations with other counterparties than the primary monetary policy counterparties.
