Jesper Lindé moves to the Federal Reserve

Jesper Lindé, Head of the Modelling Division of the Monetary Policy Department, will in November 2008 become head of division at the United States central bank Federal Reserve, located in Washington DC.

 

Jesper Lindé has previously worked at the Riksbank's Research Division. His main research fields are macroeconomics, econometrics and bank and credit risks.

 

The new head of the Riksbank’s Modelling Division will be David Vestin, who is currently employed at the Bank for International Settlements.

 

David Vestin has previously worked at the Research Department of the European Central Bank and his research fields are monetary policy, financial economics and macroeconomics. He will take up his post at the Riksbank in January 2009.
