EMU-related information

Sweden is not participating fully in the EU monetary union and has not adopted the euro. In preparation of the start of the third stage in 1999 and the Swedish referendum in 2003, the Riksbank analyzed the insequences of euro adoption for the financial sector in Sweden and published a series of reports on this topic.
