Sweden publishes the International Monetary Fund's statement on the Swedish economy

A delegation from the International Monetary Fund, IMF, concludes its annual visit to Sweden today. The visit comprises a part of the consultations the IMF holds with its member countries. During the delegation's visit to Sweden, it has met with representatives from the Riksbank, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry, Employment and Communications, the National Institute of Economic Research, the Financial Supervisory Authority and social partners.


The IMF presents its views on the Swedish economy in the statement attached and which can also be found on thisweb site.

The head of the delegation, Mr Subhash Thakur, will be available to answer questions at the Riksbank at 3.00 p.m. today, Thursday. Entrance via Malmskillnadsgatan 7. Press cards must be shown.
