Press meeting on the IMF's view of Sweden's economy, Friday 13 June

On Friday, 13 June, a delegation from the International Monetary Fund, IMF, will complete its annual visit to Sweden. The visit forms part of the review of the economic situation that the IMF regularly carries out for each member country, a so-called Article IV Consultation.
The IMF delegation has met, among others, representatives of the Riksbank, the Ministry of Finance, Swedish banks, the National Institute of Economic Research, the Swedish National Debt Office, Finansinspektionen (the Swedish financial supervisory authority) and the social partners.
At the press meeting, the head of the delegation for the Article IV Consultation, Helge Berger, will present the delegation's view of the Swedish economy. Helge Berger will be available to answer questions after the presentation.
The press meeting will be held on Friday 13 June and begin at 11.00 a.m. Entry via Brunkebergstorg 11. Press card or equivalent must be shown.
The IMF's statement on the Swedish economy will be published on Friday 13 June at 9.00 a.m. on the Riksbank's website, www.riksbank.se/en/ and will be available at the press meeting.
