Disruptions to the Riksbanks's data communications

There are currently disruptions to the Riksbank's data communication network, which mean that, for instance, the email system is not working. The telephones are functioning normally and it is possible to reach Riksbank employees on their normal extensions.

 

The Riksbank's payment system, RIX, is functioning. Some of the information functions in RIX are not working, but this problem is being resolved through established alternative channels. The Riksbank, as participant in the RIX system, has some problems making its own payments, but this is being managed with the aid of the counterparties concerned.

 

Disruptions of this nature are very rare and the Riksbank is working on identifying the cause and remedying it. This work is being given top priority.
