New report from the Nordic-Baltic Office at the International Monetary Fund (IMF)

The IMF has gained prominence during the current crisis by playing a central role in coordinating multilateral crisis response and providing support to countries struck by the crisis. Work is also currently undergoing to find ways of reforming the IMF to make it better equipped to prevent and deal with future crises.

 

The second report this year from the Nordic-Baltic Office at the IMF presents us with an update of key IMF policy developments during the autumn 2009 and explains the positions taken by the Nordic Baltic Chair when discussing these issues in the IMF Executive Board.
