The result of today's auction of credit in Swedish krona

On 2 October the Riksbank announced its decision to establish a loan facility in Swedish krona to increase access to credit with a longer maturity. Earlier today it was announced that the amount to be auctioned in the first auction for loans with a three month term had been increased to SEK 100 billion. The auction has now been completed.
 
The total amount of bids was SEK115 billion. The marginal interest rate was set at 5.40 per cent, which corresponds to the lowest accepted rate in the auction. The total allotment was SEK 100 billion, as announced today. Additional information was published today at 12:30 pm in SAXESS/OMFIE on page RIKP.


As announced earlier today, the next auction will be held on Wednesday, 8 October for an additional SEK 100 billion in the form of six-month loans.
