Per Jansson took up the post of Deputy Governor of the Riksbank on 1 January 2012 with a term of office of five years. He has earlier been working as state secretary for economic and international policies at the Swedish Ministry of Finance and as the Head of the Monetary Policy Department at the Riksbank. Per Jansson holds a PhD from Uppsala University.
