Enrica Detragiache's research has focused on banking, financial crises, corporate finance, and economic development and has been published in major professional journals. In her current position, she leads the IMF country team on Germany, and recently led teams working on Austria and Switzerland. She also held positions in the IMF Research Department and IMF Institute. Before joining the IMF she was on the faculty of Johns Hopkins University.
