Mr. Holmsen is executive director of the Financial Stability Department at Norges Bank. The department is responsible for monitoring systemic risks, modelling of early warning indicators and providing the Bank's quarterly advice to the Government on the level of the countercyclical buffer. The department also provides the assessment of financial imbalances as an input to monetary policy.
